Community College Counselors Collaborating for Student Success
Since 2005, CSUF Academic Advisement has hosted an annual Counselors Collaborating for Student Success Conference in an effort to facilitate a more seamless transition for students transferring to CSUF and forge close relationships with fellow counselors and advisors at our local community colleges. This vital conference has continually provided counselors and advisors a forum to mutually discuss a variety of issues facing transfer students. Knowledge gained from past conferences has positively impacted the vision of advising at CSUF and led to continual transfer student support. Each year, conference topics have been determined based on pre-conference email survey data, previous Counselors Collaborating for Student Success Conference evaluation data, and continuous discussions with our lead community college representative.
