Note: Refer to Calendar for important deadlines mentioned below.
Instructions For Fall & Spring Registration
1.
Find your major advisor on the posted list.
2.
Pick up your advisement forms from the Academic Advisement Center (UH 123). You should receive a Priority Registration Planner, and a memo to your advisors. * NOTE TO UNDECLARED STUDENTS: Your major advisor is the coordinator of the Undeclared Program. This person can assist you in choosing a major.
3.
Make an appointment with your major advisor. Do not wait until the last minute! Some Departments have only one advisor (Business, Communications, Biology, Undeclared) for the Finish In Four program, and their appointments fill quickly!
4.
With your major advisor, fill out the “Approved Major Courses” section of the Priority Registration Planner for the next semester.
5.
See a GE advisor in the Academic Advisement Center (UH 123 – walk-in). With the advisor, fill out the “Approved GE Courses” section of the Priority Registration Planner for the next semester.
6.
Turn in the Priority Registration Planner to the front desk in the AAC, in UH 123, by Deadline indicated in Calendar (no exceptions). If your paperwork is not turned in by 12:00 NOON, you will not be able to participate in priority registration, or continue with the Finish In Four program.
7.
Register for only those classes listed on your approved registration planner. Register on your assigned priority registration date.
Instructions For Summer Registration
1.
No forms are necessary for summer registration. If your advisor recommends summer courses, then he/she should do so at the bottom of your Priority Registration Planner.
2.
If summer courses are required for you to reach your minimum unit levels (30 after first year, 60 after second year, 90 after third year), then proof of summer enrollment is required.
•
If you plan to take those courses at a Community College, verification of summer enrollment can be in the form of unofficial transcripts, or payment receipt. The verification MUST show what classes you are registered for.
•
If you plan to take those courses at CSUF, no verification is needed – but you must register during TITAN I.
3.
If summer courses are not required, but you choose to take them, no proof of enrollment is necessary.
