Transferring Courses

Plan ahead to avoid transfer anxiety!
2) If you are currently or have been a student at a four-year institution (public or private) in California, or a student of a two or four-year institution outside of California:
Credit for coursework completed at regionally accredited institutions, other than remedial coursework or that which is identified as nontransferable coursework, is generally accepted for credit at Cal State Fullerton.
To determine if coursework completed at private colleges or universities, out-of-state colleges or universities, or other universities may be used towards meeting admissions requirements, you may contact Cal State Fullerton?s Office of Admissions and Records at (657) 278-2370 or visit their website
We suggest that you turn in your transcripts to Admissions and Records as soon as possible. Your coursework will need to be evaluated by an individual in their department, which can take some time to complete.
Students can transfer a maximum of 70 units from a California Community College and a maximum of 90 units from a four-year/out of state institution (can be combined with credit from a California Community College).
