"Freshman Student” indicates that you are starting college for the first time and in most cases, you last attended high school. Even if you are bringing in college units by AP exam, community college courses, or other units, you are still to click on "Freshman Student” for the purposes of summer academic advising.
"Transfer Student" indicates that you began your college career at a community college or possibly another institution of higher learning. You are bringing to CSUF no fewer than 60 units and you were admitted specifically as a “transfer student” to Cal Sate Fullerton.
