The Office of Academic Programs, in consultation with College Deans, the Academic Senate and appropriate faculty committees, has responsibility for the development and quality review of programs that lead to academic degrees. Committed to excellence in learning, Cal State Fullerton offers 50 graduate degrees and 55 undergraduate degrees.  

      The Associate Vice President for Graduate Programs and Research takes leadership roles focused on graduate programs and provides oversight of university research as the Campus Chief Research Officer and Research Integrity Officer.

      The Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Programs takes leadership roles focused on undergraduate programs, including general education, and provides oversight of professional program accreditation as the campus accreditation liaison for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

       Both Associate Vice Presidents assist in the implementation of university and system policies and in assuring the quality of the curriculum and academic programs.
