Engineering Innovation Summer Program in Fullerton
July 2, 2012 – July 27, 2012
Engineering Innovation is an exciting college level summer program for motivated high school students with an aptitude in math and science and an interest in (or curiosity about) engineering. Participants will learn how to think like an engineer and develop the necessary problem-solving skills while earning Johns Hopkins University (JHU) credit. Applying their knowledge of math and science to labs and hands-on projects, the students will link their class work to real-world practice. Their confidence grows as they attend college-level lectures, solve problems and generate solutions, test theories and ultimately embrace the engineering thought process.
Engineering Innovation is a successful, proven program that encourages and prepares high school students to pursue STEM education, especially engineering. The program is 4 weeks long (July 2-July 27, 2012). The total expense for attending the program is $2,055.
