Typical questions on admission
Q. Do I still have time to apply (and join) your Fall 2013 cohort?
A. Yes. Our MSE application process is still open at this point and you may apply now.
Q. I am interested in your MSE program but I am not sure that my situation is good for me to join your Fall 2013 cohort. I need to wait and see. When is your deadline on application?
A. At this point we don't have a fixed deadline. But, there is a chance we may close the application anytime. If you don't mind to take a small risk on the application fee (about $60), you may want to start the application process and secure your spot.
Q. I have applied your MSE program a while ago. So far I haven't received any admission decision yet. Can you help?
A. Yes. Please email Prof. Ning Chen (MSE Program Adviser) at nchen@fullerton.edu. He typically will respond to your email in two business days and personally look into your situation.
Q. I don't have a B.S. degree in computer science, but I have worked in the software industry for sometime. Am I an acceptable candidate for your online MSE program?
A. In general we value your software industrial experience. The best way is that you send your resume to Prof. Chen and he will review and start a coversation with you.
Q. Will I get an "online degree" for this program?
A. Our MSE program is a regular degree program (only that its delivery is totally online). After graduation you will receive a regular MS degree from CSUF.
Q. I have other questions (on cost, schedule ...). Where do I get answers?
A. Please visit the link (FAQ) on the left pane of this page first. If that doesn't help, please email your questions to Prof. Chen directly.
