The Center for Educational Partnerships is home to four federally funded programs: Educational Talent Search, Upward Bound, GEAR UP, and the Ronald E. McNair Scholars program.

Educational Talent Search (ETS)

Educational Talent Search at California State University, Fullerton is designed to help students achieve their college dreams. ETS aims to support our Scholars' success in high school and provide experiences that allow them to gain the knowledge and skills to pursue a college degree.

Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness For Undergraduate Preparation (GEAR UP)

GEAR UP partners with local schools, colleges and universities, and community partners to actively engage students, parents/guardians, teachers, staff, and administrators to infuse a college-going culture on junior high and high school campuses.

McNair Scholars Program

The Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program is a federal TRIO program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that prepares students from underrepresented, first-generation, and low-income students for doctoral studies.

Upward Bound

Upward Bound serves high school scholars from low-income families and high school scholars from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rate at which scholars succeed and complete high school and enroll in and graduate from college.
