General Education Advising
for Freshman Students
Welcome to the Titan family!
We look forward to supporting you in your educational journey. As an incoming Freshman Student, you will be accessing General Education (GE) Advising Modules through Canvas in your CSUF student portal.
Our hope is that these modules are
informative and navigate your understanding of General Education requirements.
ALL Freshman Students will have access to their GE ADVISING MODULES oN CANVAS prior to the orientation!

Login to your CSUF student portal at
www.fullerton.edu
by clicking on
Student Portal
tab on top row of home page.
Step 2
Enter your CSUF username and password and click Login.
Step 3
There are a few ways to access Canvas.
- Click on Canvas in your Quicklinks top tabs if the app is appearing already.
- In the Apps tab on the left side in your student portal under Default Apps, you can select Canvas app.
- Under the search field, type in Canvas to locate the app. You can save this app to your "Favorites," by clicking the "star" icon next to the app for quick access in the future.

Click on Canvas.

Under the CSUF Academic Advising Center FIRST YEAR GENERAL EDUCATION ADVISING title, please click on the “First Year General Education Advising” link to access your General Education advising modules.

Welcome to your First Year General Education Advising Module page in Canvas! Please pay careful attention to the instructions provided to complete your advising.
Step 7
Complete all four GE advising modules and view additional supporting videos/documents to best prepare for your first year of enrollment.
