Our commitment to transparency is reflected in reporting on the Instructionally Related Activities and allocation of fee revenue.

  • Expenditure Breakdown: Detailed breakdowns of expenditures, showcasing how funds are utilized to support Instructionally related activities, facilities maintenance, and other student needs.
  • Financial Statements: Financial statements that provide College insights into our division's financial health and operational efficiency.
  • Impact Reports to the Student Fee Committee: Presentation to the Student Fee Committee on the impact of instructionally related activities and how they are allocated across various student services and activities.

 

Fiduciary Responsibility

We take our fiduciary responsibilities seriously to ensure that Instructionally Related Activities are managed ethically and effectively in partnership with the Administration and Finance, Associated Students Incorporated, and Student Affairs Divisions. Our practices include:

Budget Oversight: Ensure Colleges carefully plan and monitor budgets to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and aligned with institutional goals.

Internal Controls: Ensure Colleges implement robust internal controls to prevent misuse of funds and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Regular Audits: Conduct regular internal and external audits to verify financial records' accuracy and integrity and identify areas for improvement with our Colleges.

Transparent Processes: Maintaining transparency in all financial dealings by providing clear and accessible information to stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and external partners.

Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure Colleges engage with stakeholders to gather input and feedback on financial decisions, ensuring that the allocation of resources reflects the needs and priorities of the proposal.

By adhering to these practices, we aim to uphold the highest standards of financial stewardship, ensuring that fee revenue is used effectively to enhance the educational experience and support the success of our students.
