The Department of Biological Science advises Biology majors each semester. Details are emailed to students in October and March each year. If you have an advising question, email [email protected] and we'll get you an answer.

Biology majors taking BIOL Core classes

Biology majors who started college at CSUF (not transfers) that are taking BIOL Core courses are advised in Core advising sessions. Attendance at Core advising in BOTH the fall and spring is required to remove your registration hold. Check your CSUF email in October and March for information. If you have questions, please contact: [email protected].

All other Biology majors

All other Biology majors are required to meet with their assigned Biology Advisor during advising period in October/November to release their registration hold for spring classes. In spring, Biology advising is required for recent transfers, candidates for Summer and Fall graduation, new majors, students on academic probation, and students who did not pass a Biol Core class; advising is optional for all other Biology majors.  Check your CSUF email in October and March for information. If you can't find the email, stop by the Department Office (MH 282) and ask.

Four Year Graduation Plans

The department has created 4 year graduation plans for each concentration.
