Center for Cybersecurity

Director: Mikhail Gofman

The CSUF Center for Cybersecurity advances education, research, and community outreach in alignment with CSUF’s NSA National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense designation. Through innovative curriculum design, hands-on experiential learning, student–faculty collaborative research, and industry partnerships, the Center prepares the next generation of cybersecurity professionals while striving toward continued cybersecurity innovation and community impact.

The Center aims to serve as a hub, creating opportunities for faculty and students to collaborate and partner with industry on inter-disciplinary applied research projects, and engage in curricular leadership in the area of Navigation. In addition, the Center aims to serve as a point of contact for both public organizations and private sector industry interested in working with and/or hiring ECS students and collaborating on research/design projects in related areas.
