For general questions regarding financial aid, please contact the Titan Hub. These may include:

  • What's the status of my recently accepted loan?
  • When can I expect to receive my financial aid for spring?
  • Can I schedule an appointment
with a counselor to review my financial aid?
  • Why is my financial aid refund less than I expected?

    And many other questions!

Top 5 questions of the week

How can I make adjustments to my housing status?  How will this change my financial aid?

    • Students living off campus but not with family can adjust their housing status with a copy of their signed lease confirming the changes to their housing for the 2025-26 Academic Year. A form will be available in early August to make a request for these changes, please visit Appeals & Forms at that time.
    • Changing housing status or increasing the Cost of Attendance will not, in most cases, increase a student's eligibility for Federal or State grant aid.

When will I see my financial aid offer for 2025-26?

We will begin awarding students mid-June. You will receive an email when you are able to view and accept your financial aid offer. Please ensure all of your financial aid Tasks have been submitted, as any incomplete requirements will prevent a financial aid offer.

When can I submit an appeal for changes on my 2023 income or parent(s) income information on the 2025-26 FAFSA/CADAA application?

We will start taking financial aid appointments on Monday, June 23, 2025. Please call the Titan Hub office to schedule your appointment, as they are based on first come first serve basis.

What other grant or scholarships can I apply for?

New and transfer students can visit the Scholarships Office website for the CSUF scholarship. The incoming and transfer scholarship application opened June 1st and closes September 1st.  If an incoming first year or transfer student is awarded a scholarship, it will reflect on their financial aid award until the Spring 2026 semester.

How and when will a student go into repayment of student loans?

Students will go into loan repayment six months after they drop under 6 units or cease enrollment for a semester. The student will be contacted by their lender if they go into student loan repayment. If a student is back in school in at least 6 units, the student can request an in-school deferment with their lender.
