I received my admissions offer for CSUF Fall 2025, when can I expect to see my financial aid offer? 

We are currently processing financial aid applications for newly admitted students, and many have begun to receive their offers for the 2025-26 academic year. Additionally, continuing CSUF students can expect to receive their financial aid offers for the 2025-26 academic year by late May.

When is the document submission deadline?

The financial aid document priority deadline for the 2025-2026 academic year is May 30, 2025. All financial aid documents must be submitted online via Student Forms, check Tasks in your Student Portal to confirm if you are required to submit additional documents.

What other grant or scholarships can I apply for?

Students can visit the Scholarships Office for additional scholarship information. The incoming and transfer scholarship application opens June 1st to August 1st.  If an incoming first year or transfer student is awarded a scholarship, it may reflect on their financial aid award until the Spring 2026 semester.

I am a CADAA applicant and have AB540 check listed, what do I do? 

Please ensure that you submit all required/requested AB540 documentation to the Office of Admissions as they are the department that reviews/process this information. If additional information is needed, the Office of Admissions will reach out to students.

My family's income has signficantly changed since 2023, when can I submit an appeal for a reevaluation of these changes?

In order to be considered for an Income appeal, students will need to meet with a financial aid counselor. We will begin accepting appointments early July, in the meantime, review our website to determine if an Income Appeal favors your situation.
