Looking to live on campus for Spring 2027? The Spring Housing Application is now open!

Students interested in living in CSUF Housing for the spring semester must complete the online application through the Housing Portal.

All official communication from Housing and Residential Engagement will be sent to your Cal State Fullerton student email address. Please check your CSUF email regularly, as many messages contain important and time-sensitive information that may require a prompt response. Housing is not responsible for missed communications if you fail to check your student email account.

You may cancel your Spring housing application without penalty through November 30, 2026. After this date, cancellations are subject to the terms of the Housing License Agreement and Cancellation Policy and may result in continued financial responsibility. Eligible cancellation reasons may include withdrawal, medical withdrawal, marriage, graduation, study abroad, or leave of absence. Financial hardship is not an automatic reason for cancellation. Please review your financial responsibilities before signing your Housing License Agreement, which is a binding agreement similar to a lease.  

How to Apply

1. Log in to the Housing Portal using your CSUF credentials.

2. Select Spring 2027 Applications from the menu.

3.   Select 'Start Application'

4. Carefully review each section of the housing application before submitting. By completing and submitting your application, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the License Agreement, which constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Housing and Residential Engagement.

Timeline

• Step 1: Apply between October 1 to December 11 (spots are limited)

• Step 2: Housing Offers will be emailed to applicants' CSUF emails on a first-come, first-serve basis

  • Spring Housing Offers will be send out starting the week of October 5 through December 18.

• Step 3: Applicants must review and accept their spring housing offer by the deadline provided in the email

• Step 4: Confirmed new spring residents will receive emails by Finals Week December 12-18 for January Spring Move-In (Monday, January 18, 2027)

• If you do not receive a housing offer by December 18, 2026, we are likely at full-capacity.

  • You may receive an update that we are unable to offer you housing for Spring

  • If you do not request to cancel your Housing Application or withdraw your interest, you will receive housing offers later on if space becomes available.

  • You may choose to:

    • Cancel your application, or

    • Remain on the spring waitlist in case there are last-minute cancellations or openings before Spring Move-In, or

    • Stay on the waitlist to be considered for Spring Housing after the semester begins, depending on availability.

  • Spring Housing offer is pending availability; not guaranteed.

Important

• Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows.

• Current fall residents who plan to continue living on campus do not need to reapply for spring.

• A non-refundable $50 application fee is required at the time of submission.

• Room assignments and move-in information will be emailed to your CSUF student email.

• Please note that we are unable to accommodate or guarantee roommate requests.
