ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Gathering in shared physical space

The QTPOC Conference exists to cultivate an intergenerational and intercampus community where Queer and Trans People of Color can gather in shared physical space to learn, heal, organize, and imagine collective futures.

Grounded in a history of responding to social, political, and economic inequities, the conference addresses gaps in representation, belonging, mentorship, and professional opportunity by connecting participants with scholars, practitioners, artists, community leaders, and peers.

Through workshops, dialogue, cultural expression, and networking, participants strengthen their capacity to navigate higher education, expand their professional and community networks, and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to their communities and future workplaces.

This conference is open to all college and university students, staff, and faculty. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
