Criteria for Enrollment

The mathematics content to be taught this summer will be selected topics in Algebra 2/Integrated Math III and Pre-Calculus that relate to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics.

To be eligible to participate in the MISS Program, students:

  • Must have completed the following classes with a “C” or better by June 2025.
    • Geometry or Integrated Math II to attend Preparation for Algebra 2/Integrated Math III
    • Algebra 2/Integrated Math III to attend Preparation for Pre-Calculus
  • Be enrolled in college preparatory classes in high school.
    • On track with A-G Requirements.
  • Be planning to attend a university upon completing high school.
  • Be willing to work hard to improve mathematic skills.

 

All eligible middle and high school students are encouraged to apply. Project MISS does not consider gender, sex, or any other protected status as part of the application and selection process for the program.
