ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

The symposium promises an opportunity to discuss innovative strategies for addressing housing insecurity and homelessness in Orange County, with an emphasis on the lived experience of those directly affected. Attendees will gain valuable insights into recent policy shifts, including Prop 1 and CalAim, and their potential implications for local service providers and consumers.

A highlight of the symposium will be a moderated interactive discussion that centers on the lived experiences of the unhoused population. Attendees are invited to consider innovative strategies to address homelessness and how CSUF can leverage its contributions to workforce development, policy assessment, and data collection in response to the shifting landscape. By fostering a collaborative atmosphere, this symposium aims to drive impactful change and adapt to the evolving needs of the unhoused population.
