2024 Student Engagement
This year, students responded to a call for papers on the topic of the symposium. Papers were presented during a morning panel discussion. A faculty committee reviewed and awarded $500 to each student who participated. The awards were given at the symposium lunch.

Omid Farzan presented a paper on “The effects of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) on the Human Development Index (HDI) of countries in the Middle East”
