Academic Technology Center for Faculty
The Academic Technology Office (ATO) provides strategic leadership and direction for all campus academic technology applications, initiatives, and support services. The ATO provides leadership in partnership with Academic Affairs for operational and strategic planning and policy related to academic computing such as e-learning, instructional technology, and research and assessment. These efforts ensure that academic technology issues and requirements are incorporated into the university's overall technology plan.

Kristin K. Stang is the Director of the Academic Technology Center (ATC) and doubles as the Coordinator of the Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) while serving as an Associate Professor in Special Education at Cal State Fullerton. She earned her PhD from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and she specializes in Learning Disabilities and Teacher Preparation.
Laura K. Labuda began her career with Cal State Fullerton in May 2000. She has a knack for keeping all things organized as she handles logistics and has participated in several projects within the IT. She is currently the Academic Technology Center (ATC) Admin Coordinator.
Emeka Emeruwa is the lead Information Technology consultant at the ATC. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Howard University, Washington DC and has been working as an IT support analyst at Cal State Fullerton for over ten years.
David T. Lin is an IT Consultant at the ATC. He has served with the Information Technology department for over twelve years. He has a MS degree in Electrical Engineering and a MBA degree both from California State University. His key interest is in operation research, organization efficiency and customer service.
Nicole Calucag is an Application Support Specialist in the ATC. She began working in IT as a student assistant while earning her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and has worked at CSUF for the past seven years.
Lisa Wang is an IT consultant at the ATC. She earned her MS degree in Educational Computing from Pepperdine University. Her interests are promoting technology in an educational environment, database management, and data analysis. She has been with CSUF IT since 1998.
Marc Montaser is an IT Consultant at the ATC. In 2004 he started working as a student assistant with IT and became a staff member in 2007 after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on information systems & decision sciences.
ATC Graduate Assistants
Wahab Syed is a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He is pursuing his Master's in Computer Science, emphasizing distributed computing and software engineering. He earned his Bachelors in Computer Science from University of Karachi, Pakistan. He has worked in the banking & payment industry as a software engineer and technical consultant with Avanza Solutions and NCR Corporation. His key interest areas include distributed computing, business intelligence, enterprise-scale application development and process optimization.
Ronak Patel is a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India and worked as a web application developer in Actonate Pvt. Ltd. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Computer Science and his interest is in the area of web application, database management and software processes.
Jose Chavez is a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physics from Cal State Stanislaus. He has previous experience as a volunteer firefighter. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in thermal and fluids engineering.
Saurabh Deshpande is a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He is currently pursuing his Master's in Electrical Engineering and his areas of interest are in the field of gps and satellite communication. He earned his Bachelors of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control from University of Pune, India. After receiving his bachelor degree, he worked for Alfa Laval (India) Limited as an engineer in the projects department.

Graduated Graduate Assistants
Oluseyi Owolabi was a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal State Fullerton. He received his Bachelor’s in Physics/Electronics from the Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria and worked as a regional IT support engineer at Access Bank Plc. His interest was in the areas of customer service, IT infrastructure management, and networking. Oluseyi is currently working as an IT Support Engineer with Nexon America in El Segundo, CA
Pratik Patel was a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He earned his Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cal State Fullerton. He received a Bachelor's of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering, from DDU, India. He worked as a telecom, network and hardware Engineer. He had an interest in computer engineering.
Sanket Shah was a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He received his Master's in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Digital Signal Processing and Communication from Cal State Fullerton. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication from Gujarat University, India. He had experience in telecommunications and has worked with Nokia Siemens Networks-India and as a network engineer for Vodafone-India. Sanket is currently working as an Engineer at Qualcomm Inc. in San Diego, CA.
Durga Kapa was a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He received his Master's degree in Computer Science from Cal State Fullerton. He earned a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from MREC India, and worked as a software developer at JDA Software Pvt. Ltd. His interest was in the areas of Hadoop, Map Reduce Framework, and Web Applications. Durga is currently working as Senior Software Engineer with ALSTOM Corporation in the Bay Area, CA
Azeem Hirani was a Graduate Assistant at the ATC. He earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Cal State Fullerton. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology from Manoharbhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology in India and worked as a Software Developer in Capgemini Technologies Ltd. He was interested in database management. Azeem is currently working as a Center Associate 4 with Deloitte LLP in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Wilson Luu is the lead Student Assistant here in ATC. He has been working with IT since his freshman year in 2010. Wilson is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Finance and one day hopes to become a very successful CFO.
