Student Long Term Laptop Checkout

Who can check out long term laptops:

Long-term laptops are available for students to check-out during the semester.  This service is a perfect solution for students who don’t have access to a computer from home, as well as those who are taking a class that uses the Virtual Computing Lab (VCL). The VCL allows CSUF students to access university-licensed computer applications via the Internet.

How to Checkout A Laptop:

To check out a long term laptop, the instructor will need to email SGC@fullerton.edu with the student(s) name, CWID, and course name.

Laptop checkout criteria:

  1. Valid TitanCard is required.
  2. Laptops may be checked out for a longer term.  Late fees of $25 per day will be applied for failure to return the laptop by the due date.
  3. By checking out a laptop for a longer term you will be responsible for the equipment being loaned out to you.  Any loss of equipment, damages, or theft will result in a $600 fine.
  4. The laptop is installed with Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, and Adobe Acrobat X Professional. Students may install their own personal software if they wish to.
