Announcement
IT will be upgrading the campus voicemail system at the end of February because the current voicemail system has reached “end of life.” A new feature included in the upgraded voicemail system is that users will receive their voicemails delivered as attachments to their email accounts as well as on their telephones. This feature allows users to listen to their voicemail messages on mobile devices and is a simple mechanism for saving voicemail messages.
Effective February 29th, users will experience the new system when they dial into extension 2525 (or from off campus at 657-278-2525), which will require them to set a new password and record new greetings. Since the current system will be decommissioned on April 4th, users should begin recording off any messages they need to save from the old system because those messages will not be available once the system is decommissioned. After the upgrade, users may access the old system by dialing extension 2552 (or from off campus at 657-278-2552) until it is decommissioned at 5:00 p.m. on April 4th.
