Products and E-licensing

CSUF is proud to announce a groundbreaking contract with Adobe Systems Inc.
CSUF is the second higher education institution in the nation to obtain a site-wide license agreement for a wide array of Adobe products and services. Adobe products are an invaluable set of tools that will greatly enhance instruction, learning, creativity and campus business productivity.

Getting Started with Adobe Products

Please review and ensure your system meets the HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS before you purchase and/or install this software.

Each CSUF faculty and staff member is entitled to a single installation of Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium for AT HOME USE free of charge.

Faculty and staff in the College of Arts, College of Communications, and College of Education are entitled to a single installation of Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection for AT HOME USE free of charge.

Faculty and staff not in the College of Arts, College of Communication, and College of Education are entitled to purchase the Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection at the discounted rate of $90.00 for at home use.

Each enrolled CSUF student is entitled to purchase ONE license per software edition for installation on the STUDENT OWNED PERSONAL COMPUTER.

In order to purchase a software license key, students must provide a non-refundable payment using a credit card or Titan Tender (TitanCard). When using your Titan Tender, please make sure there is an adequate balance via the Campus Portal.

The software program may be obtained in the following ways:

• Student may pick up a free Adobe CS5.5 30-day trial version media (unlockable with the purchased key) at the Student Genius Corner, located at PLN-030.
• Students, faculty and staff may purchase the electronic license (e-License) key by clicking on the appropriate "Faculty & Staff" or "Student" button below and then use the purchased key to unlock the trial into a fully operational version.

Choose your role to obtain an e-License key

Upon successful purchase of an electronic key, students, faculty and staff may choose to download the 30-day trial version from http://www.adobe.com/downloads and use the purchased key to unlock the trial into a fully operational version. However, Adobe will not archive CS5.5 when a new version is released. So this feature may not be permanently available.

Faculty and staff may order a free at home use copy of Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium via Software Request Form.

Due to the CSUF contract with Adobe, the Adobe free at home use software applies only to State Faculty/Staff employees. Non-State Faculty/Staff (i.e. ASI, ASC, Philanthropic Foundation, OLLI, Research Centers) are NOT eligible for Adobe free at home use software, but may purchase the license at the discounted rate.

Full support and training is available from adobe.com and tv.adobe.com for licensed users.

Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium and Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection physical media may also be ordered directly from Titan Shops. As the media from Titan Shops is a fully licensed version until July 31st of each calendar year, the pricing for the Master Collection is $100 plus tax and for the Design Premium is $90 plus tax.

By accepting this software,

1. I may only install this product on a computer that I own and on which I am the exclusive or primary user. I MAY NOT GIVE, LOAN, RENT, OR SELL THE PRODUCT OR MY ASSIGNED SERIAL NUMBER TO ANYONE.
2. I may only use this software: (a) for my personal use in the pursuit of my studies and/or work at California State University, Fullerton, and (b) while I am a Faculty, Staff, or Student at California State University, Fullerton.
3. I understand that this software is licensed as an entire suite and must be installed as such. Individual products / features may not be separated or substituted on multiple computers. You may however, omit certain features from your localized workstation installation at your discretion.
4. I understand that WHEN I LEAVE California State University, Fullerton, I MUST REMOVE THIS PRODUCT FROM MY COMPUTER and destroy any copies on media. (If I would like to continue to use the product, I must purchase a license to do so. I understand that my status as a student / employee grants me a significant academic discount until I graduate or separate from California State University, Fullerton.)
5. I understand and acknowledge that once the software license has been successfully purchased and a license serial number has been assigned to me, there will absolutely be NO REFUNDS for the software license fee.
6. I understand that per CSUF / ADOBE contract agreements, this software is licensed fully until July 31st each calendar year. The software license key WILL EXPIRE past that date.
