The Virtual Computing Lab (VCL) is a free service for CSUF students, faculty, and staff to run university-licensed programs via the Internet.

Available Software

There are virtual sessions available to check out to all students, faculty, and staff.

You are no longer have to come to the computer labs on campus to access applications that are needed for classes. Variety of software are  now available virtually for you to use at any time, and from any place. 

 Requirements 

Hardware:

VCL can run on Windows PC (32 bit or 64 bit), Mac, Linux, or ChromeBook.

Software:

Windows: Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) is already part of the OS and is readily available.

Mac: The Remote Desktop Connection client needs to be installed.

VCL should work with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
