- One-on-one academic advising appointments in-person or virtual
- Review campus resources
The advising program highlights resources for Black students, and is open and available to all who are interested to participate, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin, or any other protected status.
How to schedule an appointment with the Assistant Director using Navigate
- We don’t want students to feel stuck, so please reach out when academic or personal challenges arise that may affect your academic progress.
- When making an appointment, you can select either an in-person or virtual option.
- Please use the step-by-step instructions below to schedule an appointment.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Schedule an Appointment
- Access TitanNet in your Student Homepage or visit Navigate 360.
- Click on the Login with your school account link.
- Click on the blue bar that says Make an Appointment.
- Under New Appointment section, please select the following -
- For the type of appointment – select Advising
- For the type of service – select Black Student Succes Advising
- Select the date on which you want an appointment or click Find Available Time to find the next available appointment.
- Click on Find Available Time. You can skip the “Other Options” section.
- Available dates and times will appear for appointments.

Select the appointment you want by clicking on the time under the date you want. After selecting your appointment, you will see the details for this appointment.
***Please note:
You can choose to receive an email and text reminder for the appointment by clicking the boxes. You must enter a mobile number to receive a text reminder.
- Under Comments, you can enter any questions or topics to discuss during your advising session.
- Select the Schedule button at the bottom of the appointment details page. Once the appointment has been scheduled, you will see a screen that says Success!
- An email confirmation will be sent to your CSUF email as well.
