Pro Tips for Success!

Know your student campuswide ID.

Keep your campuswide ID (CWID for short) in a safe place where you can reference it quickly. Please also include your CWID in your email correspondences so that advisors or the person assisting you can provide you with accurate information!

Know your CSUF login and password.

Even if this information is autosaved on your personal device, we have had many students get stuck because they could not login into thier account when they needed to use their mobile device or a campus computer. Keep this information in safe place for future reference in case you ever need it.

Be sure to make it a habit to check your CSUF email!

It’s important to check your CSUF email on a regular basis (yes, even during semester breaks). Many departments on campus will only use a CSUF email to send important information and will not send to a personal email. Also, according to your privacy rights, your CSUF email ensures that privacy is protected and only you are accessing your email.
