Academic dishonesty occurs when a student gains an unfair academic advantage, and includes, but is not limited to cheating on exams or assignments, unauthorized collaboration, plagiarism, falsification/fabrication, and assisting or allowing any of these acts, or the attempt to commit such acts.

Integrity and honesty are fundamental to the pursuit of truth and knowledge. As such, these values are essential to maintaining high standards of academic integrity at CSUF and it is critical students understand the expectations of them, and the process of accountability should these standards be violated.
