Dear Research Colleagues,
As CSUF officials continue to monitor developments of the worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19) disease pandemic, we are providing important information specific to the continuity of research while taking steps to ensure the health of our university community and research participants. The University has been forwarding regular communications from the campus as well as updates provided on the CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) website as developments occur.
For guidance on face-to-face data collection, review the IRB: In-Person Research Restart Plan .
A key goal of the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) is to ensure that research at CSUF is conducted safely, ethically and legally.
The Compliance Office facilitates the meeting of this goal by coordinating the University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and programs for Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).
ORSP uses the online Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Programs to provide training for research involving human participants (IRB) and vertebrate animals (IACUC), for recognizing and avoiding conflicts of interest, and to fulfill federal RCR training requirements.
