Research Compliance

A key goal of the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP) is to ensure that research at CSUF is conducted safely, ethically and legally.

The Compliance Office facilitates the meeting of this goal by coordinating the University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and programs for Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).

ORSP uses the online Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Programs to provide training for research involving human participants (IRB) and vertebrate animals (IACUC), for recognizing and avoiding conflicts of interest, and to fulfill federal RCR training requirements.
