- Simple registration and abstract submission process
Submitting Your Abstract and Registering for the Conference
Step 1: Submit Your Abstract
Deadline: Oct. 25
Please visit the CSUSM SCCUR website and click on Submit Here to submit an abstract. Submissions will be accepted until Oct. 26, but only CSUF students who submit by Oct. 25 will be eligible for free registration. Check the CSUSM website so you know what you need to submit. It’s easy!
Step 2: Forward Your Abstract Acceptance
Deadline: Nov. 4
As soon as you receive email confirmation from SCCUR that your abstract has been accepted, forward the email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: Your Last Name SCCUR 2019 (e.g., Patchen SCCUR 2019). Include an emergency contact name (and relationship) and their telephone number. Once we have your abstract acceptance and emergency contact information, we will email you a code for registering.
Step 3: Register
Deadline: Nov. 6
Register using your CSUF emal address and the code we provide at the CSUSM Registration Link. You MUST use your CSUF email for registration for the code to be valid.
Step 4: Sign and Deliver Two Required Forms
(electronic copes will not be accepted)
Deadline: Nov. 6
We will confirm with CSUSM SCCUR that you have registered by Nov. 6. You will not be able to present if these forms have not been submitted:
Print, fill out, sign and hand deliver both forms to:
Office of Research and Sponsored Projects, 2nd floor front desk
ASC Building: 1121 N. State College Blvd., Suite 229
Multiple Student Presentations
More than one student on one presentation is welcome to apply for free registration, but each needs to forward abstract acceptances separately to email@example.com, as well as individually completing the requirements detailed above.
Students who miss the deadline or cut-off for free registration will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org indicating that they must register and pay for registration on their own through the CSUSM SCCUR Registration website. We encourage you to solicit funding support from your college (there is no harm in asking!). If you are registering on your own, you must register for the conference before Nov. 6.
Registration support is for CSUF undergraduate students only.
Student registration support is sponsored by the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP)
