Associated Students Scholarship

The scholarships awarded by Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., are not restricted to any particular major or field of study. Since Associated Students is a non-profit service organization, emphasis is placed on campus and community involvement. Note: For Associated Students Scholarships, “selected” fall scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of the Summer break. Spring “selected” recipients will be notified by the end of intersession.
Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Adult Re-entry Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Established by: This scholarship is funded by Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Fund. The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Selection Committee will select the recipient, and the scholarship will be awarded over the Summer for use the following Fall semester.
Open to: This scholarship is open to continuing CSUF adult re-entry undergraduate students and to graduate and credential program students who have been away from school for at least four years. First semester students are not eligible.
Criteria: 2.8 CSUF GPA • Community and campus involvement • Financial need
• Scholastic achievement • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 units
Application Procedure: 1) Complete the application, which is available the second week of Spring semester in TSU-207, (714) 278-3295 (do not use the application enclosed in this bulletin); 2) Prepare a typed essay of no more than 300 words describing what motivated you to return to college and pursue your higher education; and 3) Submit application materials to the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Executive Offices, Titan Student Union 207, by 12 noon on the deadline date.

Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Carol Burke Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Established by: This scholarship is funded by the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Fund. The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Selection Committee will select the recipient and award the scholarship over the Summer for use in the Fall semester.
Open to: This scholarship is open to continuing CSUF full-time undergraduate, graduate and credential program students. First semester students are not eligible.
Criteria: 2.8 CSUF GPA • Participation in a recognized on-campus sports club, intramurals, or NCAA team • Community and campus involvement • Financial need
• Scholastic achievement

Open to: This scholarship is open to continuing CSUF full-time graduate students. First semester students are not eligible.
Criteria: 3.0 CSUF GPA • Strong community and campus involvement • Financial need
• Scholastic achievement • Prospective post-graduate goals

Open to: This scholarship is open to continuing CSUF undergraduate, graduate and credential program students. First semester students are not eligible.
Criteria: 2.5 CSUF GPA • Leadership experience in a CSUF club or organization
• Scholastic achievement • Financial need

Amount: $1,000
Established by: This scholarship is funded by STA Travel at Cal State Fullerton in conjunction with the Titan Student Union. The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Selection Committee will select the recipient and award the scholarship over the Summer for use in the Fall semester.
Open to: This scholarship is open to continuing CSUF full-time undergraduate, graduate and credential program students. First semester students are not eligible.
Criteria: 2.5 CSUF GPA • Campus extracurricular involvement • Financial need
• Scholastic achievement
Application Procedure: 1) Complete the application, which is available the second week of the Spring semester in

Amount: $1,000
Established by: This scholarship is funded by the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Fund. The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Selection Committee will select the recipient and award the scholarship over intersession for use in the Spring semester.
Open to: This scholarship is open to continuing CSUF undergraduate, graduate and credential program students who are parents of one or more dependent children. First semester students are not eligible.
Criteria: 2.5 CSUF GPA • Community and campus involvement • Financial need
• Scholastic achievement • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 units
Application Procedure: 1) Complete the application, which is available the second week of the Fall semester in TSU-207, (714) 278-3295 (do not use the application enclosed in this bulletin); 2) Prepare a typed essay of no more than 300 words describing the challenges you face as a student parent; and 3) Submit application materials to Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., Executive Offices, Titan Student Union 207, by 12 noon on the deadline date.

Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., and Titan Shops Book Scholarship
Amount: Cost of books from Titan Shops for one semester
Established by: This scholarship is funded by Titan Shops in conjunction with the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., which is incorporated on behalf of the Cal State Fullerton student body. The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. Scholarship Selection Committee will select approximately 35 recipients each semester with Fall awards selected over the Summer and Spring awards selected over intersession.
Open to: This scholarship is open to graduate, credential program students and continuing CSUF full-time undergraduate students. First semester students are not eligible.
