Leanna Jasek-Rysdahl, M.A.

Resolution Education Manager

Leanna Jasek-Rysdahl received her M.A. in Conflict Resolution at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. She specializes in restorative justice and practices, community building, and facilitation and in addition to working in higher ed, this work has led her to collaborate with K-12 educators, courts, and municipal governments. Leanna practices in the conflict resolution field because it is extremely interdisciplinary and successful conflict prevention/transformation requires community input.

 

From Reconciliation to Robots: Examining the Intersection of Conflict, Resolution, and Technology

In this session, the presenter will cover some of the main reasons why conflict is prevalent over social media, email, and other forms of technology along with ways to resolve conflict online. Participants will walk away with strategies on interacting with others online while learning some of the recent and relevant research.
