Instructions/Guidelines for IT PowerPoint Template

Here are seven variations of the template from which to choose:

Title/1st page of your presentation.

Title page with no table of contents.

Content page with no images.

General Guidelines

How to Use:


1) From within PowerPoint, go to the top menu, select [file>new].
2) Under the "General" tab, choose "Blank Presentation".
3) If a window pops up asking you which slide you want, click "Cancel".
4) From the top menu, select [insert>slides from files].
5) Under the "Find Presentation Tab", click "Browse"
6) You should have seven templates to choose from.
7) Choose the one you need.
8) Repeat steps 4-5 to add additional slides.



Font style/size:

Franklin Gothic Heavy, 36pt. for main title on the title_page.ppt only.
Franklin Gothic Demi, 24pt.
for headings.
Franklin Gothic Demi, 18pt. for subheadings.
Franklin Gothic Demi, 16pt. for lines of text.


Font color should be yellow/orange.
To change the color:

1) Highlight the text.
2) Go to the top menu, select [format>font].
3) Click on the "Color" drop down menu.
4) Then click on "More Colors".
5) Here's the values to put in: Red:253, Green:225, Blue:147.
6) Click "OK"


Images:
Images do not have to be in the same exact dimensions as in the sample
template. Something close will be fine.



Transitions:

Use only "wipe left".


Bullets:
Here's how to create the square bullets.
1) Create your bulleted points.

2) Right click the text box and select "Bullets and Numbering" from the drop down menu.
3) At the bottom of the "Bulleted" tab, click "Character".
4) Choose any character that represents a box. 
5) Click OK
.


Work Area:
The area where text and images should be placed is marked off by faint vertical
and horizontal lines. When using the two column template, there is also a line in
the middle of the page where you can align your bullets. See Figure1 below.
