Campus-Wide ID: Alumni Cal State Fullerton continues its commitment to protect the privacy of alumni and to comply with all state and federal laws regarding the collection, maintenance and dissemination of Social Security Numbers (SSNs). The California legislature has passed several new laws requiring that universities use an assigned identification number instead of SSNs. University employees that require access to SSNs in order to perform certain functions, however, will continue to have access to them.
Many alumni who graduated between 1959 and 1989 have not yet been assigned a CWID. If you are one of these people, you can call Alumni Relations at (714) CSU-ALUM to have one generated. You will need to give them your Social Security Number to verify your identity.
Please refer to the FAQs for information about the new numbers, changes in the Alumni Database, etc.
