Department Information Technology Coordinators (DITC)

 

What is a DITC?

DITC is an acronym for Department Information Technology Coordinator. The DITCs perform a critical role as liaisons between Information Technology and campus departments. DITCs maintain accurate and up-to-date information on phone and data connections, room numbers, and changes in the hiring transition processes for new faculty or staff. They act as a point of contact/authentication in cases when faculty/staff members have forgotten their passwords; and provide updates and confirmations on account creation and deletion. DITCs are also responsible for submitting all telephone, email, and computer-related requests. They may also provide a point of confirmation for billed services.
