Voice & Data Outlets

The President's technology initiative includes wiring the campus for both fiber and network capabilities; included in this are hubs and switches that provide connectivity to every office on the campus.  This wiring is visible within each office in the form of a data box, which typically contains a single connection for ISDN phones and a single Ethernet network connection. 

Data Jacks

Data Jacks are active only in areas where network-enabled devices such as computers or printers are connected.  To activate a data jack, email or call the Help Desk at x7777.  Please remember to include the room number as well as the data jack number.
