At-Home Use Software
These software titles are available at the cost of media to full-time and part-time faculty and staff for home use only. These applications are available through the CSU Microsoft Campus Enterprise Agreement and licensing with SPSS.
To obtain copies of the available software packages, please complete the online form. When the software is ready, you will receive an email confirmation asking that you bring your CSUF identification card with you to the Titan Card counter in PLS-140 for your software pick up.
There is no charge for the first copy of at-home-use software. There is a $10 fee for an additional copy of any title within a period of one year.
Please note that the license agreement between the CSU and Microsoft does NOT cover technical support from Microsoft, rather the Help Desk will provide the installation support. For development tools such as Visual Studio the advanced user who utilizes the application typically provides their own support. Faculty and staff may wish to consider additional support mechanisms, such as purchasing books or logging on to Microsoft paid support directly (see http://support.microsoft.com/directory/). Because of the risks involved in upgrading Windows, we recommend that only advanced users perform operating system installations.
