Device Requests

Students, faculty and staff can request the following loaner devices: PC laptops, mi-fi’s, webcams, headsets, mobile flip phones. 

Submit the request using the online request form.  Once approved, you will receive an email from Device Request. Please review and adhere to  CSUF coronavirus  guidelines regarding coming to campus.

* Please note, if you are a full-time faculty member or MPP and need a laptop please have your department IT coordinator fill out a Service Now request.

CAMPUS DEVICE PICKUP

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Saturday - Sunday, CLOSED
(Check Academic Calendar for campus closures)

Location: Pollak Library South entrance

Device pickup is for approved requests only. Please have your TitanCard or Photo ID with you.

Check back regularly, as hours are subject to change

STUDENT DEVICE RETURNS

Please see below deadlines for device returns based on your enrollment status.

Deadline for Device Returns
January 29, 2021 – Students whose last semester is Winter 2020
May 28, 2021 – Students whose last semester is Spring 2021

Further information will be provided for those graduating after Spring 2021.

Laptop/MiFi/Phone  
Return: All returns must be made to the drop-off/pick-up location by the deadlines above. MiFi and phone service will be turned off by the return deadline.

  • Drop-Off Hours:  Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Location: South entrance of Pollak Library, no appointments necessary  
  • Please return the charger that came with the device(s)
  • Please bring a valid photo ID

Headset/Webcam
You may keep these devices. No further action is required from you.

IMPORTANT: Please remember to save all your files into Dropbox and ensure that it is synchronized to your online folder. Documents in borrowed laptops will be deleted permanently.
