Student Long Term Laptop Checkout for VCL
For the pilot launch, students who are taking a class that uses the Virtual Computing Lab (VCL) will be eligible to check out the laptops. The VCL allows CSUF students to access university-licensed computer applications via the Internet. Students will automatically be enrolled to the program by their instructors.
Laptop checkout criteria:
- Valid TitanCard is required.
- Laptops may be checked out for a longer term. Late fees of $25 per day will be applied for failure to return the laptop by the due date.
- By checking out a laptop for a longer term you will be responsible for the equipment being loaned out to you. Any loss of equipment, damages, or theft will result in a $250 fine.
- The laptop is installed with Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2007, and Adobe Acrobat X Professional. Students may install their own personal software if they wish to.
