What are the features of the Titan Apps Email?
Your email account has 7+ GB of storage, it is accessible from any internet browser, and it is accessible through mobile device and email clients using POP3/IMAP.
What is my student email address?
Your student email address is email@example.com where username is your Portal username.
Can I change my email username?
No, students are not allowed to change their username once they have personalized it.
Will I be able to forward my student email to another email address?
No, your student email cannot be forwarded to a personal email accounts due to the campus' security policy and to prevent spam and phishing scandals.
Can I use my personal email account as my preferred email account for all campus communication?
No, you cannot change your preferred email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to a personal email account. Your student email is the only email that will be used for all campus communication as per the campus' security policy and to prevent spam and phishing scandals.
Can I still access my student email through POP3 or IMAP?
Yes you can still access POP3 or IMAP. For more information, go to the Titan Apps page and click on the link "How to setup a POP3/IMAP account".
Can I access my email directly from Gmail instead of going through the Portal?
Yes you can. For the username make sure you enter your full campus email address i..e @csu.fullerton.edu. You will then be redirected to the Titan Apps login screen where you will need to re-enter your username & password.
You can also access your student email through an email client through POP3/IMAP, or by setting up your mail app on your smartphone or tablet .
How can I change my email display name?
- Log into Titan Apps
- Click on Settings on the top-right menu
- Click on Accounts
- Click on edit info in the Send mail as: section
- Change your display name and click on Save Changes
What will happen to my student email account when I graduate?
For students who graduate 2008 or later, your Titan Apps email account will stay active*. Graduates from prior years are not eligible for an email account.
You may check your Titan Apps email by logging into the CSUF Portal or directly from Gmail. If accessed from Gmail, for the username make sure you enter your full campus email address i.e. @csu.fullerton.edu. You will then be redirected to the Titan Apps login screen where you will need to re-enter your username & password.
