Peer Health University Network

What is the Peer Health University Network?

The Peer Health University Network (PHUN) is a student-based group that designs and implements health education programs for CSUF students in a creative and “PHUN” way! Peer Health Educators (PHE’s) are trained to provide presentations and coordinate campus outreach events on a variety of health topics affecting our college campus today, including reproductive health, alcohol, tobacco and other drug information, nutrition, physical fitness, stress management and mental health, as well as general health and wellness.

What types of activities does the PHUN plan?

PHUN is involved in a number of educational and outreach activities on campus. These activities include: outreach events on campus that include interactive activities, food, and “PHUN”, classroom presentations on specific health topics, campus health fairs, workshops and small conferences, outreach to the Residence Halls and Greek Life as well as other clubs and organizations, and much more!

Who can become a PHUN member?

Any student enrolled at CSUF, who is in good academic standing can apply to become a member of PHUN. We encourage any student who is interested in health and wellness to join our organization, regardless of their major.

All PHUN members should be available to attend meetings from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM every Friday during the fall and spring semesters of each academic year. The meetings are held on campus in the Main Conference Room located in the Student Health Services building (SHCC-West).
