Professor for A Day

ECS Week 2016 included the annual Professor for a Day event, held on Wednesday, February 24. Twenty one guests, 14 of which are CSUF alumni, shared their expertise and career insight in the engineering and technology professions.
Guests and Dean’s List students also participated an invitation-only keynote luncheon held at the Fullerton Marriott, featuring alumna, Mona C. Simpson (’87), Director of Site Services & Manufacturing Support with Boeing’s Shared Services Group Supplier Management and recipient of the 2015 Vision & Visionaries Distinguished Alumna award. Simpson presented on “Satellite Orbits and Operations.”
The event is held during National Engineers Week to promote a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of, and interest in, engineering and technology careers.
