Dr. Todd Taylor is an award winning teacher and distinguished professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, although he currently works full time for Adobe as a "Pedagogical Evangelist." He began leading instructional technology faculty development workshops like this one as a graduate student in 1994. Todd's research, teaching, and work continue to examine how literacy is evolving in response to emerging digital, information, and network technologies.

Digital Literacy Pedagogy in Online and Hybrid Teaching

This interactive session will explore concepts and examples of digital literacy pedagogy across the curriculum, with a special focus on student engagement and success in online and hybrid teaching.  We will talk about what’s new in the 2020 edition of the OER eTextbook Adobe Creative Cloud across the Curriculum: A Guide for Students and Teachers , and we will highlight new, easy-to-access resources and approaches for faculty development.
