Your room type eligibility is based on your academic classification at CSUF. Your eligibility determines which housing options you may apply for and when your application submission window opens.

Refer to the categories below to identify your eligible room type.

First-Time First-Year Students (Recent High School Graduates:

Residence Halls

Double or triple rooms
Community bathrooms

Suites

Double rooms
4 rooms per suite (8 residents)
2 bathrooms

Non-First-Year Students (Returning, Transfer, Graduate):

Suites

Double rooms
4 rooms per suite (8 residents)
2 bathrooms

Apartments

Single Apartments: 4 single rooms, 4 residents, 2 bathrooms
Double Apartments: 2 double rooms, 4 residents, 2 bathrooms

Financial Aid Awards

If you have an anticipated financial aid award, any remaining funds after your tuition and general fees have been paid will be applied toward your housing fees. Your anticipated aid award must be sufficient to cover your tuition and installment amount due in order to avoid the $30 late fee.

Financial Aid award cannot be applied toward any late fees.
