Mexican Muralism and the Art of Frida Kahlo

Travel dates: January 2 -15 • Mexico City - Guanajuato

Discover the art, history, beauty, cultural diversity and many attractions of Mexico City and Guanajuato. On-site lectures, exciting field trips and great cultural activities. Visits include museums, historical and archaeological sites.  This program offers a Service Learning opportunity. 

Topics Include: Art, art history & architecture.

Course Credit Options: Art 312 Modern Art (3 Cr.), Art 480T Selected Topics in Art History (3 Cr.), Art 499 Independent Research (3 Cr.)

Estimated program fee: $2,750. Includes tuition, airfare, hotel, entrance fees and designated meals.

Open to all majors. Can fulfill graduation requirements for general and art majors or as an elective. Participants should have junior or senior standing. Graduate students may apply. This program is supported by a service-learning grant from the Center for Internships.
