About
An award-winning illustrator and concept artist, Hunter has exhibited work in a multitude of juried international shows. Notable illustration annuals such as Spectrum Fantastic Art, Infected by Art, Society of Illustrators, and Communication Art have all included his works into their collections. As a practicing artist, his client list extends to all subfields of illustration, including work for film, television, comics, magazines, children's books, apps, music videos, businesses, institutions, and science journals.
Hunter currently serves as Assistant Professor of Illustration at California State University, Fullerton, and has taught at Ringling College of Art + Design, and Chongqing Medical University, China. He is a current member of Association of Illustrators, Concept Art Association, Society of Illustrator, and Society of Children’s Book Writers and illustrators. Born in China and raised in Southern California, Hunter is proud of his cultural diversity and encourage diverse cultural and aesthetic input in artworks. He likes mythology, games, and animals. He hopes to travel the world more with his lovely wife.
