Jim Jenkins began teaching sculpture at CSUF in 1981. He received his MFA from Syracuse University (New York) and his BFA from Murray Sate University (Kentucky).
He is represented by the Lois Lambert Gallery (Santa Monica, CA) and has been included in several recent exhibitions there including "iMove" in 2015 and "Machine Muse" in 2013, which he co-curated. Other professional activities include a solo exhibition at College of the Canyons (Santa Clarita, CA). His work was also included in the grand reopening of the Museum of Neon Art (Glendale, CA) in 2016. Several other works are on extended loan to the Mechanical Art and Design Museum in Stratford upon Avon (UK).
