Pianists In Performance Outreach Concerts

Pianists In Performance Outreach Concerts is a Cal State Fullerton, School of Music distinctive program.  Each year we present dozens of short-duration, live piano solo performances for local audiences in small venues.

Service organizations, educational organizations, retirement communities, CSUF alumni fund raising events, and private homes are just a few of the places our young, talented artists have performed and thrilled listeners.

An Outreach Concert is a great way to enjoy live, high-quality music with friends and family. The performance may be either live or via Zoom.

How does it work?

Typically, 2 talented, young pianists chosen by audition, perform a variety of works in a 45-to-60-minute program. They bring printed programs that include their own bios, and they briefly introduce the works before they play them.  Afterward, the audience frequently asks questions about the works, or about the pianists themselves.

Want To Be a Pianists In Performance Host?

Contact   Dr. Rob Watson by email or telephone to request a performance.

In addition to enjoying a personally delivered concert, hosts may request complimentary tickets to any ticketed piano event that is held at Cal State Fullerton and may receive student recital information if they choose.

Live hosts must provide a tuned piano, and meet campus COVID requirements (vaccination and masks, with no illness symptoms, for all attendees).
